During the Union's siege of Charleston, South Carolina in August, 1862, this 24,000 pound gun was successfully mounted on marsh and spearheaded the first attack on civilian population recorded during the war. This kit is mounted on a field expedient type carriage and is relatively easy to build. All parts shown are included.
