Requirements: Easy Work, stick for stirring
contents, small spatula and/or paint brush for application. |
|
| 2 |
Mix the contents of a jar of Easy Work with a
small stick. |
 |
| 3 |
Using a small spatula or paint brush, spread the
Easy Work onto your figure base
note 1: optional - before application, you can apply masking tape or
painter's tape around edge of base
note 2: optional - create the shape of your base with putty, piece of
styrofoam, Celluclay, etc., to simulate an uneven terrain before applying
Easy Work |
 |
| 4 |
If desired, add rocks & stones (to create a more
rocky terrain) |
 |
| 5 |
Easy clean-up! Clean brush or spatula with
water |
 |
| 6 |
Allow to dry (you can accelerate the drying
process with a hair drier). It may be desirable while Easy Work is
still wet to set the figure into position, so as to create the area (foot
prints) where the figure will be glued later in the process. |
 |
| 7 |
Terrain is now ready for painting. Use any
kind of paint. |
 |
| 8 |
The finished product! Note the lighter
color tan paint gives the appearance of a dry terrain. Darker colors
(browns) will give a less arid appearance. This would be the time to add
additional groundwork, such as grass, shrubs, leaves, etc. |
