Standard Grass Mats
This series features a more uniform grass effect, with grass blades featured in same color, and same height.
Premium Grass Mats
This series contains various growth additions that are very similar to grass mixed with clovers. This clover weed growth provides the ultimate in realism to depict an uneven grass landscape. Mix with other groundwork products to add the appearance of weeds, taller onion grasses, etc.
Premium Grass Mats with Turf
This series is very unique! It has the appearance of thin grass growth with turf (earth) showing below the grass growth. Extremely realistic! Mix with other groundwork products to add the appearance of weeds, taller onion grasses, etc.

Instructions for using Model Scene Grass Mats: Extremely easy to use! 1) The base for gluing the mats should be dust & grease-free. It is recommended to paint the base a similar color to grass mat, preferably using earth tones. The mats are somewhat transparent, and the underlying base can show through the mat. 2) The mat can be cut or torn to desired size & shape. The bottom (underneath) of the mat should be lightly sprayed with water (or apply water with paint brush). Wait about a minute to allow the water to dampen the grass foliage. 3) Glue is then applied to base. Virtually any glue will work, such as white glue. The glue should be applied with a paint brush, or sprayed on the base, making sure no glue puddles are created. The base can be uneven. 4) The wet foliage is then affixed to the base by gently pressing the grass foliage into place, allowing the foliage to take on the same shape as the base. Allow to dry, and then apply other foliage plant growth products (such as weeds) to achieve the ultimate in realistic scenery! |
