| RIS-ACC008 | Styrofoam "Blue Foam" - 4 mm thick. This styrofoam is one of the most versatile scratchbuild materials around. It can easily be cut, sanded (white fine grade paper) and lines can be drawn into the foam with great ease. It is the ideal material for making streets, sidewalks, buildings or other structures. Use a pointed object to draw lines into the foam and use a ball of aluminum foil to structurize the foam (for coarse stones for example). Any object pressed into the foam will leave an indention which opens many possibilities. Be careful when working with this stuff as your fingernail will also leave an impression! Don´t use any solvent based paint (enamels, most spray cans) on this foam as the solvents will make the foam melt. Use acrylics or oil paints instead. Sheet measures 19,5 x 30cm and is 4mm thick.
